Patrick Harnett
VP Legal and Restructuring
Patrick leads dispute and collection matters, including lawsuits, foreclosures, receiverships, and various insolvency/restructuring matters, affecting TECC’s investment transactions. He also participates in the negotiation and drafting of various legal agreements related to such investment transactions.
Patrick joined TECC from a national law firm where he was a partner in the commercial insolvency, litigation, and lending practices. He has significant experience in restructurings, distressed debt, security enforcement, and participation in Court-managed sale and investment solicitation processes. Patrick received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, a Master of Business Administration, Finance from Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario, and an Honours Bachelor of Science (Biology/Physiology) from the University of Waterloo.
