Chief Compliance Officer and VP, Legal
Belle is the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice-President, Legal of TECC and TECM. She is responsible for monitoring and assessing compliance by the Firm with securities laws and regulations, and for the development and management of corporate policies and procedures. Previously, Belle was Head of Legal and Compliance at PIMCO Canada, and a Senior Compliance Manager at BMO Bank of Montreal, where she was responsible for the compliance oversight of various business units. She was also Enforcement and Policy Counsel at Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC). Belle holds a Bachelor of Common Law and a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University and a Master of Securities Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Belle was called to the Quebec Bar and the Ontario Bar in 1997. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Association and has earned the Fellow in Board Governance accreditation of the Canadian Board Diversity Council. Belle holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is Chair of the Alternative Investment Management Association in Canada.
