David Steele

President & Chief Operating Officer

David is the President and Chief Operating Officer of TECC, TECM and TEAM, where he oversees the finance, administration, investor relations, and legal and compliance departments. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, David specializes in managing and leading asset management and distribution businesses.

From 2003 to 2021, David was a cornerstone at Russell Investments Canada, where he ascended through the ranks to hold key executive positions. His leadership roles encompassed a diverse range of responsibilities, from overseeing finance and operations to steering distribution strategies. In 2016, he assumed the helm as the head of the Canadian business. David led the business through significant growth and change, guiding its strategic plans through new distribution partners and product expansion, including new alternative investment solutions.

David earned an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics and Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder.
